May 21 and Christ's Return. Will It happen?

If one follows Facebook and Twitter it certainly looks like a go. Type the above header into Google's search engine and you will be presented with a plethora of sites and blogs for the affirmitive: Christ will indead be returning. Apparently around 6.00pm on May 21. A wider search will also reveal that Our Lady of Fatima has been appearing to followers and warning of dire times ahead.
The problem with all this, is that Christ himself tells us, when speaking of the End Times, that no-one will know the hour except the Father (Mt.24:36 & Mk.13:32). And the Apostle Paul tells us that Christ's return will be like a thief in the night, sudden and unexpected (1Th.5:4). Not forewarned or foretold.
In any event, the Rapture (Mt.24.31) will immediately follow Christ's return, which heralds the onset of Apocalypse. Therefore, one needs only to be vigilant, the sudden vanishing of millions of people won't go unnoticed [ Click here to read more ]
