First of all, please accept MW’s apology for an extended absence, as a rather nasty thing called Crohn’s disease saw fit to attack the body. Nevertheless, the Watch must continue, for we head into a most critical phase: 2012.
Rather than regale you with information that can be readily accessed on the internet regarding prophesies of the Mayans, Nostradamus and the Bible, let MW just recap a few pertinent points.
Apart from the bevy of natural disasters 2011 dealt us, there was the prediction of a certain American pastor that the world would end. Not once, but twice did his false prophesy ring out, no doubt causing untold grief to those who gave up their jobs and sold possessions in anticipation of Armageddon.
The problem with false prophesy, apart from the obvious, is that it can create a sense of complacency as the decriers rightly say: ‘See, it’s all a load of bunk.’ Unfortunately—and this is the personal belief of MW who has purchased a 20acre property in the bush in readiness—an approaching Apocalypse is not a load of bunk.
How can MW be so sure? Well, nothing in this life is 100%, but there is just too much evidence to discount it. Aside from the prophesies of the aforementioned, the galactic alignment of planets will take place on 21/12/2012 and could cause a magnetic pole reversal. Notably, it is here that the Mayan calendar ends. Add to that the increasing threat of massive earthquakes, Tsunamis, super volcanoes, asteroids, and global warming, and it seems planetary Apocalypse is a matter of time, not chance.
MW is by no means suggesting people rush out and buy properties in the bush, just remain vigilant to the signs so as to give one a chance to act. For even the most ardent sceptic would have to admit, that since MW began its search for the truth, things have got decidedly worse.
